Usagi Tsukino is the main character of the story.She is a cry-baby,and dizzy character most of time,who received some special power from the guardian cat,Luna.Usagi uses those power transform into the superhero Sailor Moon.As the fighter Sailor Moon,she fights the evils to keep Earth and universe free.As Sailor Moon,of course she is one of the highly powerful Senshi,her personal represent the love and purity.She has golden hair,done up in ponytails streaming from two buns atop her head and blue eyes.Usagi also the princess serenity of the moon.Serenity comes from the Greek mythology about Selene,the goddess of the moon,who fell in love with young shepherd Endymion.Also,the name Serenity may have also come from the dark spot on the moon called "The sea of Serenity".

Usagi Tsukino is a clumsy,very lazy and good-heart schoolgirl.Her nickname is "Odago Atama"(Dumpling head).But she doesn't really like this nickname.Usagi doesn't do well in the school because she always late.However,she has a one grace confidence that things can be make right.In her point of view, no matter how evil people are and no matter bad things are.She sure that the evils and bad things are good inside.Usagi also is very royal of her friends and cares very much of them.She always very friendly and a outgoing person.Her best friend in the school is Naru-chan.But basically,any of the Senshi are her best friends,especially Hotaru,Chibiusa and Rei.Even though Rei-chan always yelling at her when Usagi makes mistakes.But Usagi also shares her friendship with Rei.Usagi also shares her love with Chiba Mamoru.Basically,Mamo-chan is the love of Usagi's life,no matter in the past,now or in the future.

Usagi is actually the reborn Princess Serenity of the moon.She was elegant and graceful,and she fell in love with the Earth Prince Endymion.He is smart,handsome and charming.When the Moon Kingdom was attacked,Endymion died protecting Serenity and she died of grief for his died.In the present,they are reincarnated each other and have a chance to make things right.Later on,Usagi and Mamoru were learned that they will marry and become King and Queen of the future of the Crystal Tokyo,which is a modern day of Silver Millenium.Also,they learned that Chibiusa was their daughter in the future.So,Usagi and Mamoru are highly protective of their daughter.

In addition,Sailor Moon named Usagi Tsukino."Usagi" means "rabbit" and "Tsukino" translates to "The moon" in Japanese.Hence,the meaning of her name is "The rabbit of the moon".In the end of series,it shown that Usagi goes most mature and become a truly Senshi of love and justice.We are known that Usagi and everyone will live happily in the future.(I am not guess,hee...)
