lovely artbook and wonderful story of Sailor Moon.Here is the biography of Naoko-sensei in
general.
Naoko-sensei was born on 15th of March,1967 in
Kofu,Yamanashi prefecture in Japan.Her astrological sign is Pisces and blood type is A.Her
favourite colour is gold.To relax,she likes to drive her fast car to enjoy the night view
from the Rainbow Bridge in the Chiba Bay area.Naoko-sensei lives with her father
Kenji,mother Ikuko and her younger bother,Shingo.Her living place,Azubu Juuban in Tokyo,is
the same place of the Sailor Moon story line took place.
Naoko-sensei graduated from Kyoritsu Chemical
University.She talents in ultrasound and medical electronics.After graduation,she took a
job at Keio hospital as a licensed pharmacist.However,she still enjoyed writing
Manga.Actually,she has been drawing Manga when she was a young girl.In high school,she
began contributing to monthly magazine Nakayoshi.In September 1986,she won the award for
"Love call" in Kodansha's second New Manga Artist Award.
In 1991,she wrote a story about a schoolgirl action heroine
called "Code name wa Sailor V" for summer edition of Run Run magazine,acting by
a playful and cheerful schoolgirl,Aino Minako.Which became quite popular.After,she decided
to create a school girl action heroine called Sailor Moon,which run in the Nakayoshi from
March,1992 to March,1997.Eventually,she won the 17th Kodansha Manga award in 1993.And
Sailor Moon TV show began on 7th March,1992.
 Naoko Takeuchi also written other
Manga.Including:Chocolate Christmas,Maria,The cherry project(volume 1-3),Miss Rain,Prism
Time(volume 1-2),PQ Angels(from 9/1997 to 12/1997) ,Princess Takeuchi Naoko's Return-to
Society Punch(from 12/1998 to 1/1999),Code name wa Sailor V(volume 1-3) and Bishoujo
Senshi Sailor Moon(volume 1-18).In addition,PQ Angels was being published in Kodansha's
Nakayoshi magazine and stopped abruptly.And now,Naoko-sensei is being published by
Shueisha.
In 6 of January,1999.Naoko-sensei married to Togashi
Yoshihiro.He is a author of Shounen Manga series,such as Yuu Yuu Hakasho and Hunter X
Hunter.They have recently published a one-shot Manga together.
